About DZA (Dinah Zike Academy)

In three-day, jam-packed DZA Institutes at the Academy, Dinah Zike herself and DZA's professional development facilitators interact with you. You see first-hand the power and potential of three-dimensional interactive graphic organizers, dynamic and efficient classroom organization and effective teaching practices across age-grade levels and content areas. Research grounding, implementation for a variety of learners, as well as practicality is built in. A maximum of 24 participants allows for hands-on individual and small-group work, technology use, and direct application to participants' teaching practices. Some Institutes are cross-curricular and targeted to either elementary or secondary levels. Others are focused on specific content/subject areas, such as science, mathematics, social studies, or reading/language arts.
